Chairman of opposition party does not consider â€œAzadligâ€ blocâ€™s position normal

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. â€œAzadlig bloc gave abnormal answer to our offer to have joint discussions on the Electoral Code. They lay down conditions before usâ€, Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Serdar Jalaloghlu told APA. He said the bloc answered that boycotting the forthcoming presidential elections should be priority in the joint document on the Electoral Code that would be adopted by the opposition.
â€œWe had offered the bloc to demonstrate a unique position on improving the law. But they focus on the tactical issues. Each party has its position on this issue, we support the participation in the elections. We do not criticize their preferring boycott. We will not be able to demonstrate unique position in the elections, but we will invite them to our conference. It is more important for the political forces to demonstrate unique position under these circumstances. I do not consider their position normalâ€, he said.
