Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov today received the delegation led by the Minister of Higher Education of Saudi Arabia Khaled al-Angar, Foreign Ministry press service told the APA. Khalafov stressed that the level of mutual relations between the two countries is very high, and noted the importance of development of these relations in future. He highly appreciated the support of Saudi Arabia in the process of settlement of Nagorno Karabakh within the UN, Organization of Islamic Conference and other international organizations.
In his turn the Higher Education Minister said he is for the broadening of the relations in the spheres of politics, security, education, science, health and culture. He stressed that the Understanding memorandum signed between the Education Ministry of Azerbaijan and Higher Education Ministry of Saudi Arabia is of great importance for the implementation of cooperation and mutual exchange in educational sphere. /APA/
