Nakhchivan AR Supreme Council chief receives governor-general of Eastern Azerbaijan province

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Council chief Vasif Talibov received governor-general of Eastern Azerbaijan ostan (province) of Islamic Republic of Iran Mahammadkazim Memarzadeh and the members of the delegation accompanying him on January 17, APA Nakhchivan bureau reports. Talibov wished success to both sides in strengthening relations between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Eastern Azerbaijan province. He expressed confidence in strengthening and development of these relations.
â€œThe leaders of both countries are interested in the development of these relations. Azerbaijani side is interested in broadening of the relations, applying visa free regime, strengthening of economic and cultural relations. New customs complex in Julfa is the next step in this sphere,â€? he said.
Noting that he had been to Azerbaijan three times Mahammdkazim Memarzadeh said that they will do their best to develop economic and cultural relations and invited Vasif Talibov to Eastern Azerbaijan province.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Abbasali AHsanov, Consulate General to Tabriz Aykhan Suleymanov and Consulate General of Islamic Republic of Iran to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Nasir Hamdi Zare participated in the meeting. /APA/
