Migrants will be banned from working as couriers and grocery store salespersons in Russia’s Rostov region starting April 1, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
The governor of the Rostov region has signed a decree to this effect.
The ban applies only to those working under a patent (work permit). It will not apply to citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union member states — Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Similar restrictions have been introduced in several regions of Russia. Earlier, migrants were banned from working in taxi services in Russia’s northern capital, St. Petersburg.
