The Ukrainian conflict is nearing an end, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview with ABC News, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Russia is ready to negotiate and hopes that this will be achieved soon.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that the "special military operation" will end when Kyiv's allies realize the inevitability of Moscow's victory: "The longer the conflict continues, the more difficult it will be to resolve it."
Ryabkov noted that Russia is not ready to make concessions on the issues of Donbas, Novorossiya and, especially, Crimea.
The Deputy Minister also said that Moscow is resolutely adhering to the agreement reached with the United States at the Anchorage summit: "The United States knows what concessions Russia is ready to make and what it cannot refuse. Putin has repeatedly explained this to his American interlocutors. Russia and the United States are currently listening to each other and exploring possible agreements, but they are guided by national interests."
Ryabkov added that Russia would not agree to NATO's military presence on Ukrainian territory.
He stressed that Moscow has absolutely no confidence in the news coming from NATO and the capitals of the alliance's key countries.
