WP accused the Sudanese government of concealing chemical weapons stockpiles

The Washington Post (WP) has claimed that the Sudanese government possesses secret chemical weapons stockpiles, APA reports.

She cites documents and video recordings in her possession that allegedly indicate the possession of chemical weapons by Sudanese authorities. According to the publication, the Arab Republic's authorities "diverted shipments of chlorine intended for water purification for military purposes, concealed the production of warheads at military bases, conducted bomb tests in remote desert areas, and compiled lists of targets" against which such weapons could be used.

WP notes that materials allegedly confirming the Sudanese government's possession of chemical weapons were provided to it by a security official from a Middle Eastern country, who in turn received them from a source within the republic. "The documents do not provide any definitive conclusions about what Sudan did with these alleged stockpiles," the newspaper emphasizes.
