"Russia's position on the presence of foreign military contingents in Ukraine is known to everyone. This position is absolutely consistent and clear," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when answering a question about the admissibility of the presence of foreign military contingents as part of the European Union coalition on the territory of Ukraine, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Russia's position on the presence of foreign military contingents in Ukraine was formulated by President Vladimir Putin and at other working levels.
The Kremlin spokesman said that everything would become clear after Moscow reviewed the documents resulting from discussions with the US and Europe: "All this will become clear after reviewing the documents resulting from discussions between the Americans, Europeans, and Ukrainians. I would not give any forecasts or assessments at the moment."
Peskov also said that the Kremlin does not intend to discuss general topics or specific points in the context of the Ukrainian peace process through the press: "We will not discuss any general topics or specific points through the press at the moment."
