Putin to hold televised Q&A session next week

Baku-APA. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will tackle questions from the nation during his annual question-and-answer session on December 16, the government’s press service said, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
The phone-in, called A Conversation with Vladimir Putin. The Sequel, will begin at noon and will be broadcast live by Rossiya 1 and Rossiya 24 TV channels. It will also be aired live by Radio stations Mayak, Vesti FM and Radio Rossii.
The prime minister will answer questions, submitted by telephone, Internet and via mobile phone text messages. During previous sessions, questions mostly concerned social problems.
His previous Q&A session was held on December 3, 2009, from the Gostiny Dvor, an exhibition center in downtown Moscow used as the venue of United Russia party congresses. Putin answered more than 90 questions in 4 hours and 2 minutes, beating his previous record of 3 hours and 8 minutes.
During his time as president, Putin held six live phone-ins.
