Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev attended meeting of CIS Council of Heads of States

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the meeting.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev met participating in the meeting the heads of states, including Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, in the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Initially, on behalf of President Dmitry Medvedev a working dinner was given in honor of CIS Heads of States.

Then a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of States took place in the scanty composition.

After the meeting the heads of states in the scanty composition were photographed for memory.

The meeting continued its work in the expanded format. After discussions the resulting documents of the meeting were signed.

Then the attendees held a press conference, where they reported that from January of the next year the chairmanship of the CIS goes to Tajikistan, and the next meeting of CIS Council of Heads of States will take place in September, 2011, in Dushanbe.

After this the meeting completed its work.
