Baku – APA. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused Russia in funding of his opponents.
Lukahsenko made his sensational statement in his meeting with the Russian journalists, APA reports quoting the Russian newspapers.
The president said a courier carried 200 000 dollars for the opposition was arrested on the Belarusian borders. “We know who sent this money. It was sent not directly from Russia, but via Lithuania and Polandâ€, said Lukashenko.
Lukashenko didn’t give details about the identity and arrest of the courier. Belarusian opposition leaders still stay calm due this accusation.
