According to APA, Russian deputy prosecutor general Alexander Zvyagintsev handed over the 11-volume materials to the Polish military prosecutor Krzysztof Porulski. Zvyagintsev told journalists that mobile phone tapes of the crashed plane were also given to Poland. “These tapes will enable the investigators to specify the time of crashâ€.
The Polish president’s plane crashed near Smolensk, Russia on April 10, 2010 killing 88 passengers and eight crew members. Polish president Lech Kaczynski and his wife, as well as top political and defense officials were also killed in the crash.
