Russian President to leave for Armenia on state visit today

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. The resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be discussed during the visit of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to Armenia, press service of the Russian President said, APA reports.
“Within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, bilateral relations with Yerevan and Baku Russia is actively participating in the process of mediation aiming to coordinate the main principles of the settlement.â€
Dmitry Medvedev has today started his state visit to Armenia. The presidents of the two states will meet tomorrow in Yerevan with the participation of the Russian and Armenian delegations. Dmitry Medvedev will also attend the informal summit of the heads of states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Yerevan on August 20-21.
Intergovernmental agreement on the construction of the new generation atomic energy bloc, memorandum of understanding between Russian Military-Technical Cooperation Service and Armenian Defense Ministry, protocol on the extension of the term of deployment of the Russian military base in Gyumri will be signed during the visit of the Russian President to Armenia.
