Baku – APA. A passenger plane crashed Monday night near the Krasnoyarsk region of Siberia in north-central Russia, killing seven of the 15 people aboard, the Ministry of Emergencies said, citing "preliminary data", APA reports quoting CNN.
Eight people survived, the ministry said, correcting its original report that said all 15 aboard had died.
The Antonov-25 was carrying 10 passengers and five crew members when it crashed about 700 meters from the runway at the airport in Igarka, the ministry said on its website.
