Kyiv – APA. Ukrainian President Viktor Yushcneko said he had not betrayed the persons who were with him in the “orange revolution”, APA reports quoting UNIAN. Yushchenko said at the press conference in Kyiv that nobody was innocent.
“Is there an innocent man among you? No, there is not. The man standing in front of you also has sins,” he said.

The head of state said he refrained from politics, when he was a bank officer, but the situation changed. He became Prime Minister and later addressed the people in the movement. Yushchenko said he remembered those who were with him during the demonstrations very well.
“Some were there for career, some others for profit. The third were following an idea. Now standing in front of you I want to say that I have not hurt anybody,” he said.
Viktor Yushcneko said after the victory of the revolution his supporters separated because of the portfolio.
“There was a man and a woman. You know,” he said.
President said most of the participants of the revolution, who were appointed to various posts, failed to cope with their tasks.
Yushchenko said he could not blame himself for not knowing it beforehand.
“Do you want to say that it was obvious? Did I invite them to the post for my personal interests?” he said.
