Moscow – APA. Russia’s Defense Ministry placed an article on its website blaming Poland for World War II, APA reports. “Everyone learned the war’s history knows that the war began because Poland rejected the Germany’s demands”, said the article “False estimation of the USSR role before the World War II and in its beginning”, APA reports. The author said he had poor knowledge what Hitler demanded from Poland. “Germany had enough loyal demands – uniting of Danzig with Third Reich and construction of road and railways united East Prussia with main lands of Germany. It is difficult to name these demands groundless, because according to the Versailles peace agreement, Danzig was separated from Germany and most of the city’s population was Germans, who intended to unite with their historic homeland. Poland had an ambition of great state and didn’t agree with the status of Germany’s small partner”. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev issued an order last month to establish the commission “for prevention of attempts to falsify the history for damaging the Russia’s interests”.
