Levon Ter-Petrosian: â€œThe documents signed by Serzh Sargsyan on Karabakh and Armenia-Turkey relations will not have legal force for usâ€

Yerevan â€“ APA. Leader of Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosian called the Yerevan Council of Elders elections the most terrible elections over the past period. In the meeting in Yerevan on June 1, Ter-Petrosian congratulated president Serzh Sargsyan on his victory over his people, APA reports quoting Armenia Today. In his opinion, this victory will enable Sargsyan to continue plundering of the people. The opposition leader said he would reject the National Congress mandates in Mayorâ€™s Office and would never go to the dialogue with the government. â€œThe documents signed by Serzh Sargsyan on Karabakh and Armenia-Turkey relations will not have legal force for usâ€. Ter-Petrsian said Sargsyan must resign and take responsibility for his crimes. He declared the â€œSerjik, go away!â€ the main slogan of the National Congress.

Ruling Republican Party won 47.39 %, pro-government Prosperous Armenia â€“ 22.71%, Armenian National Congress â€“ 17.1% votes in the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders.
