60 thousand people in Tbilisi demand president to resign

Tbilisi – APA. Georgian opposition began meeting in Tbilisi to demand President Saakashvili to resign. Nearly 60 thousand people from different regions of the country gathered in a protest action in Tbilisi, APA reports. They intend to march through the central streets of the city to express dissatisfaction with the current regime. The protesters expected to adopt “Charter of obligations before Georgia and the people”. The protest action demanding the president’s resignation started in the country on May 9. The government doesn’t tackle the meetings.
