Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.03 per cent to 16,264.
The S&P 500, a broad measure of the markets, shed 0.2 per cent to 1,849, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index tumbled 0.5 per cent to 4,151.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of leading shares closed down 0.3 per cent to 6,588 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 was essentially flat, up 0.03 per cent compared with Wednesday's closing values to 9,451 points and in Paris the CAC 40 index gave up 0.1 per cent to 4,379.
