Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-ECONOMICS. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 15 points to end at 13,170 Monday. The index traded within a narrow range of just 56 points. The Standard and Poor's 500 was up less than a point at 1,419. The Nasdaq composite rose nine points to 2,987.
In Europe, the UK’s FTSE added seven points (+0.1%) to settle at 5,922 whilst Germany’s DAX climbed 13 points (+0.2%) to settle at 7,531. France’s CAC rose six points (+0.2%) to settle at 3,612.
The yellow metal’s December futures jumped 0.2% to $1,710.8 an ounce.
In world market, euro exchange rate against the dollar makes $1.2951 (+0.4%).
