In Europe, the FTSE 100 index of leading British shares slipped 0.6 percent at 5,787, Germany's DAX - 0.2 percent to 7,292. The CAC-40 in France was also 0.8 percent down at 3,501.
December contract gold price dropped 0.1 percent to close the last session at 1,750.1 per troy ounce.
In world market, euro exchange rate against the dollar makes $1.2984 (+0.1%).
