European market slides

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-ECONOMICS. On October 29, in European markets, the FTSE 100 index decreased by 0.2% to 5,795, the German DAX – 0.4% to 7,203, the French CAC 40 – 0.8% to 3,409.
Stock markets closed on Monday due to weather for the first time in 27 years. Bond markets closed early, at noon, as winds and waves from Hurricane Sandy lashed the Eastern seaboard. According to yesterday’s results, the Dow Jones Industrial Average went up 0.03% at 13,107, S&P 500 index dropped 0.1% at 1,412, the NASDAQ Composite – 0.1% at 2,988.
An ounce of gold decreased by 0.2% to $1,710.9.
In world market, euro exchange rate against the dollar makes $1.2901 (-0.2%).
