Lavdrim Muhaxheri also known as the “Butcher of the Balkans” was killed in a joint operation by the Russian Air Forces and the Syrian Tiger Forces in the Idlib region, APA reported citing pronews.gr.
During the operation, six of the twenty guards of him were also killed.
Muhaxheri, also known by the name Abu Abdullah al-Kosovo has long been regarded as one of the leaders of ISIS, and that many times is said to have died in Syria.
The U.S. Department of State included his name into the list of terrorists in 2014.
