Three unknown armed men attacked the Imam Khomeini mausoleum in southern Tehran on Wednesday, the Iranian state TV channel reported.
According to some sources, one of the assailants was killed, another committed suicide. The other one was detained. The official sources of Iran have not confirmed this information yet.
The man killed in the attack is said to have been a 35-year-old worker of the mausoleum.
One person was reportedly killed, five others were injured in the attack.
