The Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against IMM Chairman Ekrem İmamoğlu and 99 suspects on charges of being the head of a criminal organization, being a member of a criminal organization, embezzlement, bribery, fraud, illegally obtaining personal information and tender fraud. Intense security measures were taken in front of Çağlayan Courthouse; a scuffle occurred between lawyers and police. A group of lawyers attempting to enter the courthouse was surrounded by police. The lawyers were not allowed to pass into the courthouse.
