Six miners died from carbon monoxide poisoning during coal mining in the Kadamzhai district of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, APA reports citing Tellereport.
According to Ministry of Emergencies, the first case occurred at the Abduhakar-Ken mine, where three miners were poisoned with carbon monoxide as early as October 5. Three more men died for the same reason on October 6 in the city of Kyzyl-Kie. They independently dug coal at one of the mines.
Earlier in Yakutia, a miner was killed at the Sarylakh coal mine.
