The foreign ministers of India and Russia, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and Sergey Lavrov, are meeting today in Moscow as part of a two-day visit of the high ranking Indian official to Russia on Monday and Tuesday, his first since he took office, APA reports citing Prensa Latina.
Jaishankar and Lavrov will take stock of preparations for India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Vladivostok to participate in the Fifth Annual Eastern Economic Forum as honor guest, as well as to the 20th Annual Bilateral Summit.
Both foreign ministers will also discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Indian foreign minister will also meet with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov, according to his agenda.
