Baku-APA. The inter-Korean border remains open for South Korean workers to travel to the jointly-run industrial park in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, despite the continuing tensions between the two sides. South Koreans at the park have mixed feelings, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

Kim Won-Soo, Employee, Kaesong Industrial Complex, said, "I came here today, but I have no idea about what it will be like when I go to the North Korean side. It seems okay here, but we will be living in tense environment for the next week."

Lee Sook-Ja, Employee, Kaesong Industrial Complex, said, "I hope the South Korean government can make the situation better so that the owners can comfortably operate the Kaesong Industrial Complex."

Cho Young-Man, Employee, Kaesong Industrial Complex, said, "Even if the complex is closed, I hope our workers will be able to come back without being detained."

In Paju, cargo trucks continue to drive through the checkpoint at the Inter-Korean Customs, Immigration and Quarantine facility, while South Korean employees at the Kaesong Industrial Complex went through customs and security to their jobs as normal. The DPRK threatened on Saturday to close it down.
