Israeli Prime Minister claimed on Friday that his country plans to "eliminate Hamas" and that the ongoing counter-offensive is "only the beginning," APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Our enemies have only just begun to pay the price, but I won't go into details," Netanyahu stated. "We will continue the war until the elimination of Hamas," he insisted.
The comments come after the Israeli military said it "conducted raids" on the territory of Gaza, focused on discovering evidence that would help locate hostages Hamas had abducted and brought to Gaza, while the Israeli Air Force "continued its strikes on Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip." According to media reports, a ground invasion of Gaza is "imminent" after Israel urged Palestinian civilians to leave the area.
