Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has commented on why the next meeting on dialogue with Armenia will be held in Vienna, APA reports.
Mr. Cavusoglu said that Armenia offered to hold the meeting in Vienna.
"Armenia wanted the meeting to be held in Vienna. They proposed to hold the second meeting in Vienna or Geneva. In 2009, there was a failed process in Geneva, and the Vienna proposal was accepted so that the same situation would not continue," he said.
The second meeting between Turkish Special Representative Sardar Kilic and Armenian Special Representative Ruben Rubinyan will be held on February 24 in Vienna.
The first meeting between the parties took place on January 14 in Moscow
