Twitter has blocked the profile of Syrian President Bashar Assad after publications on the occasion of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Damascus, APA reports citing Satellite.
“The profile of the Syrian Presidency on Twitter has been blocked by the social network administration recently and was deliberately removed without any justification following our publication regarding President Putin’s visit to Damascus “, the Assad press service reported via its Telegram channel.
The department pointed to a link to the new official Twitter profile, from which he is again posting photos and videos of the Russian head of state’s visit yesterday.
Currently according to Twitter Syrian president’s previous profile has been removed for violating social network rules.
