Turkey's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) is thoroughly fulfilling its duties in Libya, President Erdoğan said on Monday, APA reports citing Yeni Shafak.
"The Turkish National Intelligence Organization is now one of the most powerful and prestigious intelligence organizations in the world," Erdoğan said at the opening ceremony of MIT's new headquarters in capital Ankara.
Note that Turkey's parliament approved a bill on Thursday that allows for the deployment of troops in Libya to protect Ankara's interests in North Africa and the Mediterranean and to help achieve peace and stability in Libya.
