The twin blasts took place in the ammunition depot in Kisla position in Afyonkarahisar at 9:15 p.m. local time (1815 GMT), setting the depot ablaze, the report said, adding that a dozen of ambulances and fire brigades were sent to the scene.

The mayor of the city, Burhanettin Coban, told NTV that "the blasts erupted in a grenade depot in the area belonging to the Turkish Air Forces."

The fire is still continuing in the ammunition depot, as the wounded were sent to the military hospital, said the report.
