Syrian FM calls for halting violence to end crisis

Baku-APA. Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al- Moallem on Tuesday called for halting violence and launching comprehensive dialogue to end the domestic crisis, according to the state-run SANA news agency, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Al-Moallem made the remarks during his meeting with the visiting Philippines’ Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario, during which al-Moallem stressed Syria’s stance which calls for halting violence from all sides, stopping foreign interference in its affairs and launching a comprehensive dialogue that would help active participation in building the future of Syria.
For his side, the Philippine official expressed his country’s solidarity with Syria to come out of the crisis through a political solution that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people and preserves its security and stability.
