Iran president satirizes IAEA Chief an American pawn

Baku-APA. In reaction to the report, Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad criticized the head of the UNâ€™s nuclear agency. He called International Atomic Energy Agency chief Yukiya Amano an American pawn, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

He said, "I am really sorry that they (the Western powers) have assigned somebody to manage an agency (International Atomic Energy Agency) that has no independent jurisdiction and even violates its own rules (referring to the alleged leaking of the content of the report to the media).

The Americans have fabricated a few pieces of papers and given them to him (IAEA chief Yukiya Amano) and he speaks here and there about these papers. Why donâ€™t they even publish one report on the US? Why donâ€™t they publish even one report on the friends of the US? Why donâ€™t they publish one report on the thousands of US military bases around the world which have hidden atomic bombs and have jeopardised world peace?"
