The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) plans to invest in solar power plants in Azerbaijan, the Bank's President, Serhat Köksal, told journalists on the sidelines of the 28th Annual Meeting of the BSTDB Board of Governors held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
"In the future, we will finance investments in solar power plants in the energy sector. At present, we cannot disclose the details, but negotiations are ongoing," S. Köksal said.
According to him, the BSTDB will attract financing not only for the energy sector, but also for projects to be implemented in Azerbaijan in the fields of logistics, tourism, and education.
