Baku – APA. President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Armenia by the end of the year, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said at the joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi, APA reports quoting Armtoday website. Armenian and Iranian foreign ministers discussed preparations for the Yerevan visit of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Edward Nalbandian said the meeting with his Iranian counterpart was a good basis for the continuation of the dialogue between the two countries.
“We discussed bilateral relations, especially the developing economic relations. There are joint projects implemented with the participation of Iran and Armenia and future projects covering transport and energy. We discussed the realization of the agreements reached between the presidents of the two countries and touched on the regional issues,†he said.
