Baku-APA. Six people were killed, including four Iraqi policemen, and three others were injured Thursday night in an armed robbery in eastern Baghdad, local police source said, APA reports quoting Xinhua News Agency.
Unidentified gunmen tried to storm a gold store in al Benok neighborhood in eastern Baghdad, killing at least six people and wounding three others, including two policemen, the police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
"Clashes erupted between gunmen and the security forces, during which four policemen and two civilians were killed," he added.
The attackers had fled the scene into darkness before the reinforcement arrived.
