The Israeli government has voted unanimously to officially recognize the so called "Armenian genocide" Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made this known on his "X" account.
According to him, the decision was made based on a draft resolution he personally proposed.
"Recognizing the genocide committed against the Armenian people in the last years of the Ottoman Empire is both a moral and historical duty," Saar noted.
It should be noted that the bill will be put on the agenda of the Knesset (parliament) plenary session for a vote.
