Two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jets were destroyed in a strike on an airfield in the Mykolaiv region, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed in a statement, APA reports.
According to the ministry, the strike disabled two MiG-29 fighter jets of the Ukrainian Air Force stationed at a military airfield in the Mykolaiv region.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said that over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces had carried out strikes on Ukraine's military airfield infrastructure, ammunition depots, and facilities used for the production and storage of unmanned aerial vehicles.
It should be noted that these claims by the Russian Defense Ministry have not yet been confirmed by the Ukrainian side.
