A phone conversation took place between Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Türkiye's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA.
It was reported that during the phone conversation, the ministers discussed issues arising from the Azerbaijan-Türkiye alliance, the agenda of the existing strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as interaction and coordination within international and regional organizations.
The ministers emphasized that the high-level political dialogue and mutual support between the brotherly countries form the foundation of bilateral relations and noted the importance of continuing close cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
During the phone conversation, the sides also exchanged views on the current security situation in the region, developments in the post-conflict period, and steps being taken to ensure regional peace and stability.
