Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. “Iran will discuss its participation in the meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency in the US,” Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency Ali Asghar Soltanieh told journalists, APA’s correspondent covering the disarmament conference in Tehran reports. He said Iran’s participation in the IAEA meeting in New York was being discussed.
“We are discussing this issue. We will send document to the meeting, if it is considered expedient,” he said.

He said they were not concerned that the US and some western states were against the development of Iran’s nuclear energy program.
“We will continue cooperation with the countries that will cooperate with us in the nuclear sphere. Even if the US continues exerting pressure, it will not influence our work. The US has already used atomic weapons for war purposes. But it does not mean that all want to use it. We will develop our peaceful nuclear industry,” he said.
