Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA. A Korean woman passed a written test for a driver’s license after 950 attempts.
Cha Sa-soon passed the exam with 60 out of 100 possible scores making herself and local traffic police happy because police didn’t believe that the woman will pass the exam successfully one day. Korean traffic police promised to Mrs. Cha to award her with a medal in a case of successful test when she failed again after 771 attempts. Cha attempted the test almost every day since April 2005 taking examinations for three times a week and spending about 4000 US dollars. 68-year old Cha is preparing now to take driving test.
This is not unique for Korea. Another Korean citizen So San-moon, 70 passed the driving test after 271 attempts during five years. So was illiterate worker and therefore he took not written, but verbal exam. He had good memory and could remember and then analyze his mistakes.
