Iran blames US and Britain for Zahedan terrorist attack

Tehran – APA. Iran says the United States and Britain were involved in the terrorist attack in Zahedan province of Iran killing 29 people, including six top officers of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard. The speaker of the Iranian parliament Ali Larijani said the terrorist attack was a result of the US policy against Iran. Iranian television said quoting the reliable sources that British government was involved in the terrorist attack. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard also suspected involvement of “foreign elements”. Zahedan’s prosecutor said a Sunni terrorist group Jandallah took a responsibility for the terrorist attack. Iranian Interior Ministry said 29 people were killed and 28 injured in the terrorist attach in Pishin city of Zahedan. Deputy Commander of the Revolutionary Guard’s ground troops Nur Ali Shushtari and commander of the Guard’s troops in Sistan and Belijestan provinces General Mohammad Zadeh were also among the victims. Other sources said more than 70 people, including six generals of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard were killed during the terrorist attack.
