Iranian presidential adviser’s daughter seeks asylum in Germany

Tehran – APA. An Iranian citizen seeks political asylum in Germany. Nargez Kalhor, the daughter of Mehdi Kalhor, the adviser to President Ahmadinejad on cultural and media affairs, applied to local authorities of Nuremberg, Germany for political asylum, APA reports. Nargez Kalhor participated at the Nuremberg Human Rights Film Festival with her film condemning totalitarianism and use of tortures. Kalhor told journalists that her father was not aware of her plans. Mehdi Kalhor told IRNA that he divorced with his wife for the differences of political views and lives separately from his family.
