"Based on the factual record I have put forward, I am announcing today, we cannot and will not make this certification," Trump stated.
The US president also noted that Iran's nuclear agreement with the international community will be terminated if the United States cannot be fixed in Congress and with its allies. However, he is directing his administration "to work closely with Congress and our allies to address the deal's many serious flaws so that the Iranian regime can never threaten the world with nuclear weapons."
"The Iranian deal was the worst transactions the US has ever entered into," the president said. It gives the regime billion of dollars to support terrorists, he added. Worst of all, Iran is still able to develop element of nuclear program under the nuclear agreement, Donald Trump noted.
The US president blamed Iran of multiple violations of nuclear agreements. "Iran is not living up to the spirit of the deal," Trump said.
