“US supports the development of Middle Corridor. The development of this initiative, making the Middle Corridor fully operational will increase trade opportunities and turnover,” Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Global Markets and Director General of the US Foreign Commercial Service Arun Venkataraman said at a briefing for media, APA reports.
"The US can support this initiative by sharing its experience in the field of logistics and transport, and the experience of US private companies,” he added.
The American official stressed that his country does not direct private companies in which country or region to invest. He highlighted that the US supports the activities of its companies in all regions of Azerbaijan.
