U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he is ready to make a deal with Iran if the country abandons its nuclear weapons program at the U.S.–Gulf Cooperation Council summit, APA reports.
He said that Iran must stop supporting proxy wars in the region and emphasized that the Iranian regime will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
“I want to strike a deal with Iran, to do something if possible. But they must stop sponsoring terrorism, end proxy wars, and permanently renounce nuclear weapons,” the U.S. President stressed.
