Baku-APA. Police said three people were dead from an attack in Casper College in Wyoming Friday morning, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Casper Police Chief Chris Walsh told local media that there were two dead at the school's Wold Physical Science Center and one dead at another location in Casper, although he would not identify the dead or the other location.
He said no suspects are at large and nobody else was injured. He also said that no firearms were used in the attack. However, he did not identify the weapon or weapons involved.
Earlier reports said a man who was injured during the attack was taken into custody by police.
Police responded to the attack in the campus's Wold Physical Science Center at about 9 a.m. Friday morning. Police and college officials locked down the campus and police sealed and searched the physical science center.
All classes and activities were canceled. Most of the students were sent home and the school provided counselor service to students after the attack and put signs on its website.
Casper College, which is located about 250 miles (402 km) northwest of Denver, is a two-year community college in Wyoming's second-largest city Casper, which has a population of 56,000.
