U.S. President Joe Biden ordered Ukraine to receive another $325 million military aid package, the corresponding document was published on the White House website, APA reports.
As the U.S. Department of State clarifies, this is the 36th release of weapons and ammunition from the country’s Department of Defense stocks, authorized by the Biden administration since August 2021.
The new aid package will include ammunition for HIMARS missile systems, 155-mm and 105-mm artillery shells, anti-tank missiles TOW and AT-4 complexes, anti-tank mines, aviation ammunition, more than 9 million rounds of ammunition for small arms, spare parts for equipment and other field equipment.
“The United States will continue to work with its allies and partners to enable Ukraine to meet its immediate battlefield and long-term security needs,” the State Department said.
