Baku-APA. Chilean Mining Minister Laurence Golborne said late Tuesday that the rescue of the 33 miners trapped underground in northern Chile will not start before 0100 GMT on Wednesday, two hours later than the most recent plan, APA reports quoting Earth Times.

"Details in the installation of the communications network delayed the process," Golborne said.

Chilean authorities have confirmed that miner Florencio Avalos, 31, will be the first man out, followed by Mario Sepulveda, 39, Juan Illanes, 52, and Bolivian Carlos Mamani, the only non-Chilean among 33 trapped workers.

However, rescue teams said the roster could change as they see fit.
